As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to escalate—marked by daily violations of human rights and widespread devastation—it becomes ever more urgent to create spaces for awareness, dialogue, and critical reflection.

In response to this urgency, Urbinary Urban (c)interpretations—a new event format by Urbinary, the podcast and dissemination platform developed by students, alumni, PhD candidates, and researchers at Politecnico di Milano—will host its first Movie Night at Il Cinemino in Milan.

🎥 Tuesday 27th May at 9 PM
Join us to watch and discuss the powerful documentary “Where Olive Trees Weep”, produced by Zaya Benazzo, Maurizio Benazzo, and Ashira Darwish.

🕊️ The film offers an intimate and unflinching look into the lives of Palestinians living under Israeli occupation. It explores themes of loss, injustice, and resilience, portraying the harsh realities of land confiscation, home demolitions, imprisonment, and the denial of fundamental rights. Despite these injustices, the strength and dignity of a people persist. A haunting, emotional journey that asks: what blinds the oppressor to its own cruelty?
