Hiring opportunities to join the Department of Excellence within DAStU – Politecnico di Milano! Temporary Research Fellowships for two exciting positions:

  1. “Local public administrations as levers for anti-fragile territories” CUP D43C22005190006

Duration: 12 months, starting February 1, 2024
The research grant is dedicated to developing methodological approaches to be made available to local administrations to address the challenges of resilience and sustainability. In particular, the research fellow will support with its activities the work program of the Center of Competence for Anti-fragile territories of


The research grant is dedicated to developing methodological approaches to be made available to local administrations to address the challenges of resilience and sustainability. In particular, the research fellow will support with its activities the work program of the Center of Competence for Anti-fragile territories of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, contributing to the development of “design” skills capable of helping local administrations to develop projects able of promoting the resilience or, better, the antifragility of territories. The research fellow will be involved in the activities that the Centre will develop in collaboration with national and regional bodies that support capacity building programmes (design/governance/training) of public administrations.

  1. “Developing Methodological Approaches for Local Administrations The Metropolitan dimension as a lever for anti-fragile territories” CUP D43C22005190006

The research grant is dedicated to exploring the significance and implications of a regional-metropolitan scale vision to support large urban agglomerations in addressing the challenges of resilience and sustainability. In particular, the research fellow will support with its activities, the work program of the Center of Competence for Anti-fragile territories of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, contributing to the development of “design” skills inspired by the concept of Anti-fragility, but also by the principles of situatedness, differentiation, diversity and distinctiveness of the urban, in the context of the Center’s collaborations with international organizations that support capacitation programs (planning/governance) of public administrations.
