Starting this week, the MSc Course: Smart Cities and Urban Innovation at DAStU – Politecnico di Milano will host the Critical Urban Digitalization (CrUDi) seminar series.

These seminar series bring together international experts to critically discuss the complexities and controversies of the digitalization/smartness interplay and to provide an overview of ongoing critical research and perspectives animating the current debate.

Today we are starting with Bipashyee Ghosh‘s lecture titled: “Deep transition futures and smart urbanism: challenging contradictions through global south experiences”.

Discussants: Deepa Joshi and Michelangelo Secchi (Politecnico di Milano)

CrUDi seminars are organized by: CALL – Cities in Action for Learning LAB (Grazia Concilio, Maryam Karimi) and TAU-Lab (Davide Ponzini, Zach Jones, Abdallah Jreij)

All seminars will take place at Politecnico di Milano, Leonardo Campus in Milan and on Webex: https://lnkd.in/ekDeydb9
